We don't just pull the kits off the shelf and sell them to you. Matt has long been an antique truck and car "nut." His dad was involved in the trucking industry for many years. He knows the vehicles, where they ran, the time frame they ran in, and what the trucks hauled. He has the knowledge to get an accurate vehicle on your layout. We are happy to answer your questions. From time to time we will offer kit bashing how- tos on available models.

Jordan
Miniatures HO scale kit #220, 1923 AC Mack aerial ladder truck,
which sells for $7.95 updated with Sheepscot Scale Products kit #85007 pneumatic
tires, $5.00. These tires update the truck to a '40's front line fire truck. We
consider this the toughest of the Jordan kits. This truck custom
built and detailed sells for $150.00, or build it yourself for $12.95.
Sheepscot
Scale Products kit #95104,HO scale Sterling Truck, $24.95. This
Sterling truck kit is an accurate scale model of a late 40's early 50's heavy
truck. These trucks were active in both the construction and logging
industries as they had the reputation for being extremely tough. This kit bashed
model has components from the Jordan Miniatures AC Mack dump truck, kit #210,
$7.95. These components include the dump body and the chain drive
system. the Sterling chasses came with either a chain drive or a shaft
drive system. This truck custom built and detailed as shown sells for
$85.00. You can build it yourself for $32.90.
Sheepscot
Sterling kit #95104 as above using the Sheepscot Scale Products HO scale
kit #26114, 6 yard dump body, $8.00. This truck custom built
and detailed as shown sells for $75.00.
Don Mills Models HO scale LJ Mack tractor with integral sleeper, $18.95.
The LJ Macks were introduced prior to World War II and remained in production
into the mid 50's. As with all the Macks, they could be found anywhere in
North America. This would definitely be an over-the-road long haul
tractor. All parts are included in the kit. This truck custom built and
detailed is $80.00. Available as a kit for $18.95.
Jordan Miniatures kit HO scale #229, 1934 Ford 21 passenger school bus.
This kit sells for $6.95 or you can buy it custom built and detailed for $75.00
Don Mills Models HO scale 1952 Bullnose Kenworth. The Bullnose Kenworths were
early 50's, more common on the west coast than the east. This is one of the few
models available of a 50's COE truck. The kit as you see it sells
for $18.95, custom built, $80.00.
Don Mills Models HO scale 1952 Bullnose Kenworth with a sleeper cab. This kit
sells for $19.95 and is available custom built and painted for $80.00.
Sheepscot Scale Products kit #95106, HO scale Autocar C100. Autocars were manufactured
in Ardmore, PA. They were produced from 1939-1955 and were used well into
the 60's and early 70's. The C100 was the heaviest truck in the line and
served in the construction industry and as heavy highway truck. The kit
sells for $20.00, custom built and detailed as shown, $80.00
Sheepscot Scale Products HO scale U-90 Autocar, kit #951070. The kit
includes the cab and chassis only. the stake body on the model as pictured
is a modified Athearn stake truck. first built in 1937, this truck was
popular in urban areas well after it was discontinued in 1950. The kit is
priced at $18.00 (cab & chassis). The custom built model as shown is
$80.00.
Sheepscot Scale Products kit #95109 LC-180 International cab and chassis
HO scale kit. Trailer is a modified Athearn trailer. These trucks were
sold throughout North America from 1953 to 1968. This cab and chassis kit sells
for $20.00. The cab and chassis custom built is $80.00. The custom
modified trailer is $20.00.
Ho scale Sheepscot Scale Products kit # 95103 single rear axle R-220
International, produced from 1953-1968, one of the most popular trucks in North
America. This kit sells for $20.00. It is also available in a double
rear axle version, kit #95102, also $20.00. Custom built as shown, $80.00
Jordan Miniatures HO scale kit #239, AA Ford 1 ton oil/gas truck. The Ford
Model A series trucks came out in 1921 and were built through 1931. However some
AA trucks lasted through World War II. This kit sells for $6.95.
Custom built and painted as shown, it is $75.00.
1914 Diamond T, Woodland Scenics kit #242, HO scale. This is a classic
early C cab truck. These trucks ran into the 30's. This model as shown has
a kit bashed tank. The kit with a stock tank sells for $9.98. Custom built
as shown, $80.00.
Don Mills Models HO scale B-73 Mack, single axle tractor. Another classic
50's/60's Mack. These ran into the 80's. The kit sells for $18.95.
Custom built and painted as shown, $80.00.
Alloy Forms kit #3109 HO scale50's H Model Mack cab and chassis kit.
Trailer in picture is a kit bashed Athearn van body and Sheepscot Scale Products
rear view mirrors. The Alloy Forms kit sells for $24.95. The custom built model
as shown is $90.00.
Jordan Miniatures HO scale kit #210, 1923 AC Mack Bull Dog dump truck.
This model is stock except for the Sheepscot Scale Products #85007 pneumatic
tires which brings this truck into the 40's. The Jordan kit sells for
$7.95. The Sheepscot tires sell for $5.00. This truck built and
detailed as shown sells for $75.00
HO scale Jordan Miniatures 1923 AC Mack high lift coal truck. The model on
the left is equipped with Sheepscot Scale Models pneumatic tires kit
#85010. The other two use the Sheepscot Scale Models #85007 tires.
The tires sell for $5.00 and the Jordan kit sells for $7.95. The built up
models sell for $75.00 each.
HO scale 1924 White one/two ton truck. This is a kit bashed project the
starting component being the Jordan Miniatures 1924 American LaFrance fire
truck, kit #237 which sells for $7.95. If you are interested in building this
truck, we can sell you the various components and the instructions to do
so. The model custom built and detailed as shown sells for $85.00
